PearTune is connected to the e-bike system with compatible and original connectors. The MSO does not need to be configured manually. The entire configuration and adaptation to the particular e-bike are done automatically. The MSO is connected in between the magnetic speed sensor and the motor unit, and in between the display and the motor unit. All trip data readings including actual speed, max speed, average speed, distance etc. are correctly displayed. The maximum speed is limited only by how fast you can pedal.

PearTune connects to the e-bike system using compatible original connectors. There is no need to set up the device or use diagnostics during installation. All configuration and adaptation to the settings of a specific piece of e-bike is provided automatically.

USAGE

The PearTune MSO function can be switched on or off at any time while driving by briefly pressing the walk button.The function of this button remains unchanged when pressed for a long time.The activity of the device is always displayed by a certain element on the display (depending on the type of display) and the display of the value 9.9 km / h (2.5km / h) immediately after switching on (switching off) the device.

The device can be activated or deactivated anytime by once short-press of the light button (LIGHT). The original function of this button remains unchanged with a long-press and the walk assist function can be used like before.

Can de-restricting my e-Bike, cause problems?
Although we have had no reported technical issues due to using this dongle by using it you risk voiding your manufacturer warranties. We will continue to offer the free labour warranty that we offer with all e-bikes bought from us but if your e-bike manufacturer discovers a way to tell that you have unlocked your electric bike system they may void your bike warranty.
