The following press release from Gocycle February 2024:

Dear Gocycle Owner,

Due to changes made by both Google and Apple, Gocycle will no longer be able to support our current GocycleConnect App. However, we’ll shortly release a significant new update to the GocycleConnect® app (V9).

You’ll notice a new user interface which we hope you like. We’ve also laid the groundwork to deploy more features in the future.

However! V9 won’t be perfect, and we would very much appreciate your constructive feedback.  Some features such as ride tracking, and the live dash are not yet fully complete and will be available soon. 

We apologize for any inconvenience Google and Apple have caused. You’ll need to upgrade to V9 to stay compliant with Google and Apple’s latest app rules. There will be regular feature releases and bug fixes over the coming months as we collect your feedback. 

New App Login Procedure 

  • V9 will use the same username and password you use on the gocycle webstore.
  • If you have previously ordered from Gocycle and have a username and password, after you update the app to V9, use the same gocycle.com webstore username and password to login to the app.
  • If you purchased your Gocycle from a dealer, or second hand, or don’t have a gocycle username and password, use the same email address as you currently use for the pre-v9 existing app.
  • If you are setting up a new Gocycle and you don’t have a gocycle account yet, just download the V9 app and you can create an account via that app.  This same account username and password can be used to login to gocycle webstore in future.
