Councils and Government know it. Transport industries know it and entrepreneurs and BIG tech firms are vying to create the breakthrough product or platform that we all choose to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Will it be<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>electric bikes<\/li><li>electric scooters or hover boards<\/li><li>electric cars<\/li><li>self driving electric cars<\/li><li>self driving personal electric vehicles (e.g. 1-2 person car pods)<\/li><li>multi &#8211; passenger electric vehicles<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>At this point one thing is certain you&#8217;re more likely to be going electric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where do you see and try the latest electric options?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The problem is that most people don&#8217;t get the chance to see the possibilities up close and therefore change is happening far too slowly for our health and for our planet. Ultimately the technology that will transport us into our sustainable future depends on the choices millions of you make. To make your best choice you need to be able to evaluate the options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All over the country EV events, shows and festivals are being organised to give people the chance to see and discuss the latest technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year the very first Cambridge Goes Electric event was held on Parkers Piece. It was a huge success and so many people had never tried an eBike or seen a Tesla up close &#8211; never mind getting to sit in one. To say people were blown away is possibly an understatement. You will be surprised, amazed and probably&#8230;we hope&#8230;.considering how to make the move to electric if you can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>London to Cambridge Bike Ride<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are sharing Jesus Green with the London to Cambridge Bike Ride. Thousands of wonderful cyclists wonderfully raising money for charity. If you&#8217;d like to take part please register&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bike-events.co.uk\/Ride.aspx?id=653\">here &#8211; Bike Events<\/a>. If you&#8217;d like to borrow an electric bike to do the ride we have a few available just for this so just get in touch with our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.electricbikesales.co.uk\/cambridgestore\">Cambridge store<\/a>&nbsp;at least a week before the event.
