Yamaha Intube Battery - Haibike Presents 2019 Models at an Attractive Price

Haibike is once more making headlines with a new and exciting ebike model. The Yamaha bike with new 500Wh Intube battery is powerful, compact, and perfectly integrated.
Haibike is one of the first manufacturers to offer the new Yamaha 500Wh battery for the model year 2019 as an Intube battery solution. It combines modern design with high-quality technology for all ebike enthusiasts who are looking for a sleek and stylish ride.

The slim power pack benefits from high energy density cells to make it one of the lightest batteries on the market. Thanks to its compact size, the lithium-ion battery can be integrated ideally into the frame design and, along with the Bosch PowerTube battery, complements the Haibike Intube Battery Concept (IBC) for the new model year 2019.

Haibike Intube Battery Concept and Modular Rail System

The battery integrated in the down tube is protected by a SkidPlate made of impact-resistant plastic. When necessary it can be removed in a matter of seconds. This battery is protected against environmental influences by the hydroformed frame tube and a positive-locking battery cover.
With the integrated battery, Haibike reflects a trend that it has perfectly complemented with the Modular Rail System (MRS). Thanks to the patented MRS, various accessories such as a magnetic drinking bottle or a lock can be quickly and easily attached to the frame. With the Bosch inTube design it is possible to use the MRS to add a second battery and double the eBike range. It is likely to be available but yet to be confirmed for the Yamaha InTube MRS setup.

The Yamaha 500Wh Intube battery will be available at an attractive price-performance ratio for much of the model range - from hardtail and full suspension to trekking e-bike. In addition, there will be new cable routing on all new Haibike models with Yamaha InTube. Here are the most important models in the overview:
