Yamaha Internal Battery

The other BIG news for 2019 is the integrated battery with the Yamaha eGroupset. Haibike will be using battery packs made in Germany by Europe's biggest lithium battery manufacturer BMZ and offering inTube Haibike designs at incredible prices.

See the blog here and just one of the InTube offerings the Haibike HardSeven 5.0.

Yamaha have released not one but two new displays and the first is similar to the Bosch Purion.

Yamaha Display A

The LCD screen and thumb controls are integrated so that you have one place to look for your information and changes and keeps the handlebars clutter free or with space for your favourite centrally mounted lights.

  Yamaha Display C

This is a feature rich colour dot matrix display with a high resolution and connectivity features allowing you to use the screen to see turn by turn navigation, fitness and calorie tracking and more. One eBike you'll find this display on is the very stylish sDuro Trekking 6.0

Yamaha PW-SE Motor

Yamaha revealed their PW-SE motor a few months ago. It represents incremental improvements to the PW motor, bit lighter, quieter and smoother with peak torque staying at a still impressive 70Nm - you'll see this motor through the sDuro range and swapped out for the PW-X motor for the xDuro range.
