Flexible load transport

A family’s weekly shop, carrying another person or two children at the same time – despite being surprisingly lightweight, the Multicharger is capable of transporting an additional load of up to 65 kg on its 64.5 cm long rear. Two large panniers, each holding approx. 33 litres, provide the luggage space, with the child passenger kit providing space for two children aged 6 or older protected by a double rail. Bulky goods can be securely fastened to the sideloader, which also acts as a footrest or as a useful surface for carrying children’s bikes with the standard front luggage carrier providing additional transport space.

We have reinvented the cockpit of the E-Bike: If you opt for the cockpit with Kiox display or the Bosch SmartphoneHub, these are perfectly integrated into the handlebars with optimised cabling. The adjustable angle of the stem allows you to choose a sporty or more comfortable seating position. Just as stylish as the cockpit is the frame design, with its built-in 500 Wh battery.

If you like heading off on tours and also riding off-road, then simply equip your E-Bike with this first-class component combination: Schwalbe Smart Sam Plus All-Terrain tires with SnakeSkin side wall guarantee outstanding grip, especially when cornering, and extra-secure puncture resistance. The wide flat VP 538 pedals provide grip for your feet. The Ergon GP 3 bar-end grips with an ergonomic shape for optimum pressure distribution, three different grip zones and excellent vibration damping, ensure maximum comfort on long trips.

Smartphone docking and additional display

The Bosch SmartphoneHub transforms your smartphone into a display and communication system, in which all functions are combined: intelligent navigation with live weather, fitness data and much more. It is convenient and reliable to operate using buttons on the handlebar or voice control. Your smartphone is automatically charged during your trip. But it also works without a mobile phone: in that case an integrated display shows key riding data.

Transporting people

Safe child transport

With the child passenger kit, your loved ones come along for the ride perfectly protected. Two children up to primary school age can comfortably sit one behind the other, well-secured thanks to a sturdy outside bar. A second bar is for holding on to, so that the children’s hands and arms remain inside. The cargo bags prevent little passengers from touching the spokes with their feet. Without the cargo bags, a spoke protector and footrests must be used for safety.

Spoke protector

The spoke protector prevents undesired contact between spokes and cargo or fastening straps. When the child passenger kit is used without cargo bags, the spoke protector has to be mounted in order to ensure the children’s safety.

Transporting cargo

Two cargo bags, each with a volume of 33 litres, make optimum use of the cargo area. They are attached, safe and secure, to the carrier, but can be easily removed without the use of tools. Full of useful details, they help everything find its intended place.

For bulky cargo or towing bikes

Large, bulky objects can be individually attached to the sideloader for secure transport. Alternatively, it can be used as a footrest when transporting an older child on the back seat. The convenient bike-towing function enables you to transport a kids’ bike. Even when doing so, there’s still enough space to mount a child seat.

CARGO ACCESSORIES

Frame lock plus optional chain lock

The permanently fixed Abus Shield frame lock means that your E-Bike is secured in an instant. The optional 130 cm long chain is also latched into the Shield so you can quickly lock your bike to the nearest lamppost. Especially practical: the same key works for the frame lock and the battery lock.

Headlamp with permanent lighting

Depending on the model, Supernova’s or Busch & Müller’s LED headlamps provide consistently excellent road illumination whenever you go for a ride. They are supplied with power by the battery to guarantee full lighting power at all times. On the HS models, the brake light ensures that you ride even more safely.

Hydraulic disc brakes

The hydraulic Magura MT4 disc brakes deliver maximum performance, no matter what the weather. The large brake discs allow the braking effect to be distributed most effectively. They don’t produce rim wear and impress with their consistent braking performance.

DualBattery 1000

DualBattery Technology perfected by Riese & Müller ensures twice the range or far higher climbs, fewer charging breaks and longer-lasting riding pleasure. The PowerTube and frame battery are so cleverly positioned that the extra weight has no noticeable impact on riding behaviour – and yet both are easy to remove. With the 1,000 Wh now available, completely new destinations can be reached and you no longer have to worry about the range in your daily routine.

GX option

If you like riding your E-Bike off-road, then simply equip it with first-class Schwalbe Rock Razor All-Terrain tires. Their flat tire studs in the middle of the running surface have extremely low rolling resistance for faster riding on straight sections. The solid tire studs on the shoulders of the tire guarantee exceptional grip, particularly when cornering. The wide VP 538 flat pedals provide grip for your feet. The sporty Ergon saddle and the Ergon GP 3 bar-end handles with their ergonomic shape for optimum pressure distribution, three different grip zones and excellent vibration damping ensure maximum comfort on long trips.

A second bar is for holding on to, so that the children’s hands and arms remain inside. A child seat for a small child can be fitted in it. The second child then sits behind on the back seat. We recommend either including cargo bags or a wheel guard in your configuration to prevent the spokes touching any feet. You will need the sideloader as a footrest if no child seat is being used.
