Wisper is the bike in front and their new folder the 806 fe is a Wisper through and through.

From a performance perspective the level of power assist is extraordinary for a 24V system. With a max range of up to 15 miles per charge most city commutes can be successfuly negotiated in a reduced time compared to public transport or...any vehicle that gets stuck in traffic. The Panasonic batteries deliver ample power for speedy acceleration and good hill climbing. The 3A charger offers a 3 hour full recharge.

The Wisper 806 in terms of build quality and finish surpasses any other folding electric bike we have seen under £1,200. It boasts an 16 speed MicroShift gear set so you are more likely to find the gear you need and maintain your rhythm on varying terrain. The usual hand built alloy frame and rust proof components as on other Wisper bikes.

The bike is very light at 19Kg including the battery. This means with folding onto public transport to use at either end it is possible to avoid the economic and environmental cost of running a car for your commutes.

The new 805 is now available and it has the much needed addition of a pedelec power selector so you dont get full blast all the time and can turn the power on/off at the handlebars. This will increase you range to 15 to 30 miles.

805 is available online only at £1119. SRP is £1239.

Our tests have proved the bike to be a reliable, good hill climber and a nice bike to ride. The bike is easy to service thanks to the now established Wisper FCB modular wire harness.
