They have won technical design awards for bikes incoporating their invisible welds and dual metal double welded frames. Their attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement using the latest materials and technologies available result in products performing above their price point. This means that they offer good value for money.

When we have tested lightweight electric bikes in the past the performance regarding range or hill climbing has always been compromised. Not with these beautiful machines.

There are 4 models starting from as little as17.5Kg and all coming in under 20Kg and with up to a huge 60Nm of climbing force.

All Storck bicycles are manufacturered in Germany and a large part of your purchase decision would involve the quality of the build, the riding experience and componant level. Storck are renowned for their lightweight innovative designs and they produce some of the lightest fullsize pedelecs.

The motors used on the Raddar pedelecs are Swiss made and contain unique Storck technology that appear to offer lots of turning force: 60Nm of peak turning force for a sub 26V battery suggests that the motor is one of the most efficient in existence. The torque sensing delivers a very smooth ride with excellent interpretation of rider and terrain input allowing for seamless power delivery. These bikes certainly offer some of the best hill climbing performance/weight we have seen.

Do be careful because Storck licence their motors to other manufacturers such as CUBE - but they get the lower specification motor which is 0.6Kg heavier and has 5Nm less torque.

The battery is light, small and secure but easily unlocked for off bike charging.

Using maximum power on moderate to flat terrain you can expect 15 to 20 miles max.
