Free Electric Bike Hire
What is it?
The opportunity to trial an ebike overnight or for several days when your closest TETS shop is closed.
How Does it Work?
- You call or email us to make a booking. eBikes can be hired over any period the shop is closed. E.g. From close of business on Wednesday until opening time on the Thursday or from close of business on a Saturday until opening time on a Wednesday.
- You bring a passport or drivers licence as proof of i.d. and a recent utility bill for proof of address.
- You pay 50% of the value of the bike as a deposit refundable when the bike is returned in the same condition.
- For weekend hire you pay a nominal fee of £25 which is refundable against a purchase.

Tuesdays we are normally at the Cambridge shop completing workshop tasks. Therefore if you wish to come to the Cambridge shop on a Tuesday it is usually possible but....... Please check with us in advance to avoid disappointment! The best way to contact us is by email or phone. You may need to leave a message which we promise to return promptly. Our shops are always busy, and our staffing policy is QUALITY rather than quantity. As well as providing expert advice this keeps the overheads down and allows us to have real shops AND great prices.
