Hi,

We would like you to buy from us, that is what puts food on the table and pays the mortgage. So why should you buy from us? It could be a difficult question to answer if we were not consumers ourselves. But we are! We are customers and we know what it feels like to be a customer, and we like to feel good about being a customer.

We like to feel:

1. HALFORDS: We are recommended to the customers of the biggest cycle to work scheme operator in the country. Halfords now exclusively use The Electric Transport Shop for their customers requiring an electric bicycle, tricycle or folding electric bike.
2. INDEPENDENT: We have the largest range of electric bikes in the UK and quite possibly Europe. We sell only those products with a substantial base in the UK or Europe so we can be certain of back up...for parts for you. Because we stock the best known and specialist brands we can always be impartial and find exactly the right bike for you and your budget.
3. KNOWLEDGE: We deal with allot of electric bikes and have been groomed by very demanding customers in Cambridge (life long cyclists) so our knowledge is sharp and accurate.
4. HEINZMANN: Heinzmann are the Rolls Royce of electric bicycles and you don't see Rolls Royse dealers on every corner do you? We are proud to have been selected by them as their second importers to the UK.

4. Cambridge City Council have asked us to advise them on charging points for electric bikes and vehicles in the city...we even sold a bike to the last mayor (and the current one!). Update: Cambridge City Council will now be installing free ebike charging points in 2008.
